Aviation Safety: Gas Canisters Cannot Fly
Airlines strictly prohibit gas canisters in both checked and cabin baggage. We stock standard 230g and 450g threaded (screw-on / EN417) isobutane cartridges at our Tbilisi depot for easy purchase upon pickup.
Frequently asked questions
How do I pick up and return the gear?
You can collect your pre-booked equipment at our central depot in Tbilisi before your journey, or have it delivered directly to your guesthouse in Omalo upon arrival. Returns can be made at either location.
Is a security deposit required?
Yes, a refundable cash or card deposit is taken upon pickup. Once all items are returned clean and undamaged, your deposit is refunded immediately in full.
Are sleeping bags washed between rentals?
Absolutely. Hygiene is our highest priority. All sleeping bags and liners are professionally washed, sanitized, and sealed in clean compression dry-bags after every single trek.
Can I buy gas canisters from you?
Yes. Since gas cartridges cannot fly on airplanes, we permanently stock standard threaded screw-on (isobutane-propane) gas canisters at our Tbilisi and Omalo collection points.
